At the end of last year, our ECE UConn Drawing Class participated in the “Memory Project”. The Memory Project is a program that bridges the gap between American high school students and under privileged children from around the world. Fourteen photos of children from Afghanistan were shipped to Berlin High School. Our students drew their portraits and these portraits were shipped back to the organization who had hoped to deliver the photos in June and July but it was too dangerous. A total of 2,600 photos were delivered in August along with a donation of $4,000 to put toward their education. Thank you to all for your contributions and support.
