National Portfolio Day

National Portfolio Day is coming up! All Berlin High School Art Students are encouraged to attend.

The Connecticut event it is held at Hartford Art School. It’s a great opportunity for advanced level students to get their portfolios viewed by colleges they are interested in, gain feedback as well as possibly get admitted to a college on the day of. For beginning students it is also a great opportunity because it exposes them to all the different college offerings available for the Arts as well as show them the rigor of the portfolios needed to get into an Art school.

Celebrate Youth Art Month at the AP Studio Art Show! Mar. 3-7.

Berlin High School AP Studio Art is excited to announce their show dates at Berlin Peck Library. Deemed by the College Board, the AP Studio Art Course breaks down into three different strands or areas of focus: Drawing/Painting, 2-D Design, and 3-D Design.

Due to inclement weather on Tuesday night, the opening has been moved to  Wednesday, March 4th from 6:30-8:00 and will run through till Saturday, March 7th for viewing
.

The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 – 8, Friday 10 – 5 and Saturdays, 10 – 4. Please come out to support your homegrown artists!
